The Daily Grind

During my short time as a college student athlete, I have realized that time management is crucial.  If you have not already learned that, you will shortly realize it.
For example, my typical Wednesday in the offseason:
7:00 Wake up, etc.
7:30-7:45 Breakfast
8:00-8:50 Class
9:00-10:15 Batting Practice
10:20-10:40 Study time
11:00- 11:50 Class
11:55-12:30 Eat+ study
1:00-1:50 Class
1:55-2:05 Get ready for practice
2:10-2:20 Pre-practice work
2:30-6:00 Practice
6:10-6:30 Dinner
6:40- 9:40 Study/ HW and see what HW you can do for the future
10:00-11:40 Extra conditioning work via playing basketball
11:50 -12:00 shower
12:05-7:00 Sleep

As athletes we have very little time for what is actually important.  We want to study, but we also want to excel in our sports.  Studying and doing well in school is the hardest thing a college athlete will do in college.  I know that I struggle with it, I know my room-mate does and I know my team mates do.  Dreams do not just become reality.  They require hard work, dedication, blood, sweat and tears.
Work hard,
J.
