Alright, so break is over and everyone just can not wait for Christmas. Nobody wants to be back in school because finals are in two weeks that also means saying good by to some great professors. As a student, I have to concentrate more since this is make or break time in the semester and everyone else must too. Finals may be a good chunk of your grade, but if you stop working now that chunk will not help you. The studying hours get longer and there is less time for fun. Do you want to pass or fail? That will help you decide whether to dig deep and keep going or give up and fail. I'd like to shout out my man Tyler. He is real about and a smart kid. He knows little tips and how to keep pushing. He knows its not always straight forward, but knows that it is a zig zag. He is working hard and it shows. His blog is Life as a student-athlete.
Peace ya'll

Why We Do What We Do
Pictures of myself by: Jesse Garber
Many people wonder why we do what we do. As kids we either developed a passion or it was our get away place that turned into a passion. For many it also is a way for us at the moment to have a future or something to look forward too. We want to make it to the league and get paid, we wanna have all the fame, we wanna be able claim that we are the best. There is no way to describe why we have this passion for the game, we just have it. It may be our team that we so utterly love maybe it is the time we get to perfect our skills and it could be we can not think of life without our sport even though it is possible that we will not play within a few years. There is no official answer, but we will grind until we have no more chances.
Peace,
Jake
